At Unique Floors Ontario, we use only the highest quality materials to ensure your rubber surfaces are long-lasting, flexible, and built to withstand wear and tear. Each component is carefully selected and tested to provide optimal performance, safety, and durability. Our attention to material quality ensures that every installation stands the test of time, whether it's for a pool deck, driveway, or recreational area.

EPDM Rubber Granules:

Sized between 0.5mm to 4.00mm for optimal flexibility and durability.
Randomly cut to create multiple points of contact, allowing the polyurethane binder to cure firmly.
Colourfast granules ensure vibrant, long-lasting surfaces resistant to fading.

SBR Recycled Rubber Granules (Base Layer):

Provides a sturdy foundation with extra thickness for added comfort and safety.
Soft, cushioned base layer ideal for reducing impact and creating a resilient surface.

Polyurethane Binders:

High-quality, UV-resistant clear resin for a strong, durable bond that maintains surface clarity.
Ambering resin option for darker mixtures, offering a temporary yellowish hue that clears with UV exposure.

Surface Preparation

Thoroughly clean the existing surface to remove dirt, debris, and any contaminants.
Prime the surface using a polyurethane resin and thinning agent for smooth application.
Apply straight resin to the edges for added durability.

Rubber Granule Mixing

Mix dry EPDM rubber granules to match the chosen color scheme.
Coat the granules with polyurethane resin, ensuring uniform coverage.

Pouring and Troweling

Pour the resin-coated rubber mixture onto the prepped surface.
Use a trowel to spread the rubber evenly, achieving a consistent thickness of about 3/8".

Finishing

"Close" the surface by applying pressure with the trowel, smoothing the rubber and ensuring a strong bond.
Repeat the process across the entire area to create a seamless, uniform surface.

Curing

Allow the surface to cure and harden, ensuring it's ready for use within a short time frame.
